James Stern of the UMD School of Music faculty performs Max Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1; the program concludes with Dvořák's beloved American-inspired masterwork, the New World Symphony. 

The University of Maryland Repertoire Orchestra is a unique all-campus orchestra that is open to music majors, non-music majors and members of the University of Maryland community. Led by graduate conducting students at UMD, the orchestra prides itself on a wide range of projects, collaborations and repertoire.
