Program Notes: 

The UMD Chamber Singers and the University Chorale will present an eclectic program of Renaissance, Baroque, Romantic, 20th-Century and contemporary music.

Headlining the program is the premiere performance by the Chamber Singers of Five Fantasies on Bach Chorales by William Kenlon, UMD composer and winner of the Walsum Competition. Another highlight will be the Chamber Singers' choreographic collaboration with Dance faculty Adrianne Fang in a performance of Liebeslieder Waltzer by Johannes Brahms.

The University Chorale will present music by Handel and Vaughan Williams, as well as a cappellaworks by French composerson its portion of the program.
