Sara Gordon

Sara Gordon is a Guest Experience Coordinator in the Ticket Office, acting as an advocate of audience members and working closely with student staff members to ensure that every guest at The Clarice has an enjoyable and memorable experience. Coming to work at The Clarice felt like a homecoming, as Sara earned her undergraduate degree from the UMD School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies.

Sara has worked in a variety of DC theatres, including Arena Stage and the Capital Fringe Festival. She has spent most of her professional career in Imagination Stage’s box office, where she marketed and coordinated group sales and field trips, as well as assistant managed the patron services team. To keep her creative cogs well oiled, Sara mentors with Walt Whitman High School’s drama department and experiments with stage makeup techniques (she’s particularly fond of playing with gore effects).
