Mimi d’Autremont is the Projections Coordinator for The Clarice and joined the team in the fall of 2014. She is responsible for all projection and video needs for the Artist Partner Program, Maryland Opera Studio and the UMD School of Theatre, Dance and Performance Studies. Mimi is originally from Portland, Oregon and studied Video & Lighting Design and Art History at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.

Prior to joining the team at The Clarice, she worked for the Contemporary American Theatre Festival in West Virginia and New York City. She is also an alumna of the Projections & Sound Apprenticeship at Studio Theatre where she engineered and designed projections for events, galas, and multiple productions. Mimi is also an accomplished photographer and videographer; in 2014 her work was published in a New York Times web feature.

Mimi resides in Washington, D.C., where she enjoys the local culture, photography, and drinking inordinate amounts of coffee.

What is your favorite part about working at The Clarice?

My favorite part of working at The Clarice is the access to cutting-edge technology we provide for our artists – both students and professionals. Our artists and audience are growing together as we explore the future of technology and the arts, which I find really exciting.
