Amanda Lee Barber
Amanda has been with The Clarice since September 2014. Prior to her arrival she was the Venue and Facilities Manager for six years at CulturalDC, an nonprofit arts organization dedicated to making space for art. Amanda's primary duties are managing the scheduling and rentals of the performance venues for both The Clarice's partners and external rentals.
In her spare time, Amanda performs with her improv troupe — Fisticuffs — part of Washington Improv Theater's (WIT) Harold program, taking the stage twice a month at Source. She earned her B.A. in Arts Management at the University of Tulsa.
What is your favorite part about working at The Clarice?
I enjoy the incredible venues The Clarice has to offer both to our partners as well as the great UMD campus. Being part of the support that artists and burgeoning artists receive here is pretty swell.
